IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ BEFORE USING ANALYSIS REPORTS
NOT PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
The PQRA Engine is automated analysis software that implements computations based on published IEEE and IEC standards. It is not a substitute for professional engineering services.
All analysis reports, power quality grades, risk assessments, harmonic analyses, event detections, economic impact projections, and recommendations generated by this Service are produced by automated algorithms and are provided FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
REPORTS GENERATED BY THIS SERVICE:
(a) Are not prepared by or under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in any jurisdiction;
(b) Do not constitute engineering advice, engineering design, engineering analysis, or recommendations for safety-critical systems;
(c) Should not be used as the sole basis for engineering decisions affecting electrical systems, equipment, facilities, personnel safety, or regulatory compliance;
(d) Do not replace site-specific assessment by qualified professionals who can evaluate installation conditions, local code requirements, equipment ratings, and environmental factors;
(e) May contain errors, omissions, approximations, or inaccuracies inherent to automated data processing and algorithmic analysis.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR:
-
Verifying all analysis results against independent measurements and professional judgment before acting on any information provided by this Service;
-
Obtaining appropriate professional engineering review from a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) before making decisions about electrical systems, equipment modifications, or infrastructure investments;
-
Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international electrical codes, regulations, and standards;
-
Evaluating whether the analysis accounts for all relevant site-specific conditions, including but not limited to: system configuration, load characteristics, utility supply conditions, equipment age and condition, environmental factors, and local code requirements;
-
Understanding that economic projections, cost estimates, and risk scores are statistical models based on industry averages and may not reflect actual costs, savings, or risks at any specific facility.
AUTOMATED ANALYSIS DISCLOSURE
Analysis reports are generated by automated algorithms and AI systems. Reports are not reviewed by human engineers prior to delivery. The automated system implements computations based on the following published standards:
- IEEE 1159-2019, Power Quality Monitoring
- IEEE 519-2014, Harmonic Control in Electric Power Systems
- IEEE 1459-2010, Definitions for Measurement of Electric Power Quantities
- IEEE C57.110-2018, Recommended Practice for Transformer Derating
- IEEE C18.1, Battery Standards
- IEC 61000-4-7, General Guide on Harmonics Measurement
- IEC 61000-4-30, Power Quality Measurement Methods
- ANSI C50.13, Rotating Electrical Machinery Standards
References to IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards are for identification purposes only. The PQRA Engine is not certified, endorsed, or approved by any of these standards organizations. Implementation of standards computations in software involves engineering judgments, approximations, and simplifications that may differ from the full scope of the published standards.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING LICENSING
The practice of engineering is regulated by professional licensing boards in all 50 U.S. states and territories, as well as in most international jurisdictions. Providing engineering analysis, advice, or recommendations to the public may require supervision by a licensed Professional Engineer.
The PQRA Engine is positioned as a software tool (similar to products such as MATLAB, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and PSCAD) that performs standardized calculations on user-supplied data. It is the user's responsibility to determine whether the application of these results in their specific context requires professional engineering oversight under applicable licensing laws.
NO WARRANTY ON ANALYSIS ACCURACY
THE ANALYSIS RESULTS, GRADES, SCORES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND ECONOMIC PROJECTIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. 3DFS LLC MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY ANALYSIS OUTPUT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
